a familiar face?

The last things we heard about Eddy Curry, the Knicks 60 million dollar man, he spent the offseason being sued for sexually harassing his (male) driver, showed up to camp woefully out of shape and was promptly injured.

Well, Eddy is allegedly back and in the best shape of his life.

You see this a lot in professional sports, especially sports with guaranteed contracts, where players are paid tens of millions of dollars and can still barely muster the motivation to workout even half as hard as suburban soccer moms. When they do actually spend a week in the gym, we are then subjected stories about it and are supposed to care. Case closed right?

Not necessarily, have you noticed this new, svelte "Eddy Curry" looks a lot similar to our old friend Plaxico Burress? Did they pull the old switcheroo on us? From what we understand Eddy is a super lazy video game connoussier. He's been sitting around not doing anything for weeks, like a kid with a great fake illness avoiding school. I'm sure he was getting worried about getting a call from his employers who expect him to show up for work sooner or later. He could have proactively reached out to Plaxico Burress (both played for NY teams at the same, they prob know each other) and worked out a deal to switch. Plax plays ball for the Knicks for the rest of the year and Eddy gets to sit in in Rikers and extend his summer vacation for another year, playing video games like Avon did when he was in jail.

I can't prove it but look at the photos below and decide for yourself.
